ROSE NACRÉ NAIL POLISH

En lakkaa kynsiäni melkein koskaan.. Mutta löysin ennen joulua alennuksesta todella suloisen kynsilakan Peggy Sagelta. Väri on nimeltään Rose Nacré ja se tekee kynsistä melkeinpä helmiäisellä päällystetyn näköiset. Lakka on vaaleaa ja läpikuultavaa, joten ei mitään hirveästi huomiota herättävää - eli juuri minulle sopivaa.

// I almost never use nail polish.. But before Christmas I found this really cute color from Peggy Sage on sale. The color is called Rose Nacré and it really makes nails look almost like they'd been coated with nacre. The color is very light and translucent, so it's nothing very attention-grabbing - and that makes it very suitable for me.

HOLIDAYS

Joulun aika ja muu lomailu on mennyt rauhallisesti, eli juuri niinkuin haaveilinkin. Olemme katsoneet elokuvia kotisohvalla, ihastelleet lumista maata ja itse olen käyttänyt tuhottomasti aikaa myös Pinterestissä pyörimiseen sekä lukemiseen.

NOW WEARING [COMFY NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT]

Uutena vuotena en pukeutunut mihinkään kimaltavaan tai laittanut jalkaani korkoja. Vietimme illan ystäväpariskunnan vieraana hyvää ruokaa syöden, pelaillen lautapelejä, lilluen paljussa viinilasit kourassa ja fiilistellen raketteja. Oli oikein mukava ja rauhallinen uuden vuoden aatto tällä kertaa!

// I dressed very casually to the new year's eve celebrations. We spent the evening with our friend couple as their guests. We ate some great food, played board games, relaxed in a outdoor hot tub with wine glasses and watched some rockets. It was a very nice and peaceful New Year's Eve!

NOW WEARING [CARGO CASUAL]

Nämä kuvat ovat jo syksyltä, mutta en ole saanut aikaiseksi tuoda niitä blogin puolelle. Välillä täytyy ottaa rennommin - kotona ollessa se tarkoittaa kollareita, ja ulos asutessa valitsen päälleni Zaran cargohousut.

ALDO OVER THE KNEE

Saapasjahti jatkuu aina ja ikuisesti. Tällä kertaa kokeilussa olivat Aldon Uliawen ylipolvensaappaat. Aika kauniit olivat kuten kuvista näkyy. Etuosa on aitoa nahkaa, sivuilla on kultaiset vetoketjut ja takaosa - se on kokonaan tavallista, ohutta joustavaa kangasta. Joustavan kankaan ansioista sain ahdettua paksut pohkeeni kenkiin, mutta jokin saappaissa ei natsannut. Ehkäpä syy oli juurikin kangasosiossa, sillä suoraan takaa katsoessa kenkiä ei näkynyt, vaan näytti siltä kuin olisin tunkenut sääreni farkkujen kanssa mustiin polvisukkiin. Edestä ja sivusta saappaat olivat kuitenkin todella hienot ja korkeus juuri sopiva.

// My hunt for the perfect boots continues. This time I tried Aldo's Uliawen over the knee boots. The front is genuine leather, they have golden zippers in the sides and the back - it's thin fabric. Thanks to the elastic fabric, I was able to squeeze my thick calves into the boots. Still, something about these wasn't right for me. Perhaps the reason was the fabric. Because when watching directly behind, you can't see the shoes and it's like I'm wearing black knee socks over my jeans, haha. However, the boots were really nice and the height was just right.
